What is required to register my new vehicle at Drayden Insurance?
To register a new vehicle, you must come to our office with valid photo identification, your original signed bill of sale (ink signatures are required), and valid proof of insurance. If your vehicle is brand new, you will also need an original NVIS (New Vehicle Information Statement) from the dealership. Please ensure that all buyers or desired registrants are present for the service to be completed.

All alterations or corrections to a bill of sale must be initialed by both the buyer and seller. Please ensure that any changes you make to your bill of sale are initialed by both parties before visiting a registry office.

Can I renew my registration for (or without) my partner?
When renewing registration on someone else’s behalf, please bring their old registration and valid insurance with you. How do we apply for a marriage license?
To obtain a marriage license, you and your partner must come in person with valid photo identification. You can complete the marriage license form in our Printable Forms section ahead of time or when you come into our office. If either of you has previously been married, please bring your official divorce certificate as well. Please keep in mind that we can only issue marriage licenses for weddings taking place in Alberta within the next three months.
How do I order a birth certificate or marriage certificate?
To obtain an Alberta marriage or birth certificate, please come in person with valid photo identification. You must fill out the government request form on the Service Alberta website. This form can be completed ahead of time or when you come into the office. You can visit our online services page to request a birth certificate for a child under the age of one.
